Martial Arts is a noble gift for everybody, it gives different and oftentimes personalized benefits to its practitioners - for children, men, and women. And since this March we celebrate International Women's Day, let's talk about its benefit to women. Let's get it on!

Health Benefits

Your health status gradually improves due to intense physical activities. Endurance, strength, and flexibility are enhanced specifically if you train and focus on Kata. I have shared a link below to show you what are Katas.

If you are a runner or a hiker, you can maximize the strength of your legs and capitalize on its potential thru kicks.

You can feel that you have greater stamina when you practice martial arts.

Improves Stance and Form

Martial Arts improves your stance and form. It also makes its practitioners stand and sit with confidence. Also improves not only your pose but importantly your poise. Here is an example of Kata. Take a look on how they stand and how they execute their movements.

Strengthens Your Mind

Martial arts can help you handle the pressure and the hassle of everyday tasks easily. Like running, dancing, and hiking, this is a good stress reliever. Martial arts trains your mind to think for quick and effective solution to a problem. Just like in a sparring, your mind is trained to solve problems and puzzles arising at the moment. You study every movement, calculating the next moves, and you learn to think ahead, to think strategically. Eventually, you'll find a unique application of this skill into your everyday life, work, or even in relationships.

Immunity Against Fear of Violence

Martial Arts uses small-scale violence to help you learn and cope with any violent threats that might come. It is like a vaccine - that helps you get immune to fear of violence. With constant training, you could teach your mind to think and stay calm when a physical conflict arise. Your are not easily distracted or intimidated because you are aware that you can handle the situation to protect yourself. You are aware that fighting is the last resort. If good words, gentleness or any clever flight strategy fails (running, shouting for help), it's time to rumble.

Gives Back an Awesome Body

For being a good adept of the art, you will be rewarded with an awesome body!

This is one of the good side effects of your training. You could have that nice sexy abs, toned muscles and head-turner curves. Of course this is together with your good diet.
