And now I will share to you some important things why you should let your children learn Martial Arts.
THEY DEVELOP DEEPER LEVEL OF RESPECT
Respecting the elders, parents, siblings, and friends are taught at home while respecting opponent and their capability is taught in Martial Arts. The importance of this development teaches your child not to be careless in dealing with other people. They can learn how to study behaviors, movements, techniques, and strategies of their opponent. They don't underestimate others and keep them aware sa mga improvements na kailangan nilang gawin for themselves.

STRENGTHENS SELF-RELIANCE
Dito matututo sila how to handle their emotion in time of stress and how to believe and rely on themselves kapag nakasalang na sila sa Kata or Kumite. He will learn how to compartmentalized his thought and handle a situation. At first, there are children that will cry kapag nasaktan. This will improve gradually, they can learn to handle situation and find solution for themselves. It will start with an assisted problem solving with their Sensei, then day by day, you will see they can stand on their own solving their opponent's puzzle.
How important is this in everyday life? When they are in school or other areas outside your home, where you don't have total control of the people surrounding him, you will be assured that whatever comes their way, they can handle it on their own instead of crying or allowing themselves to be bullied. And fighting back is not the first option. They can learn that in every situation, there is an alternative way aside from engaging into a fight.
LEARN THE SCIENCE AND PSYCHOLOGY OF FIGHTING
Having the correct state of mind during a stressful situation is a noble skill that your children could have. They will be aware of the upcoming threat and make decisions how to avoid or get out from it. They could sense an upcoming danger through body gesture interpretation and avoid any potential attack.
Your children will also develop enhanced motor skills for self-defense. Escaping, deflecting, dodging punches, kicks, choking or kahit mahigpit na pagkakahawak will be learned and can be used everyday. They know how to protect themselves and eventually, will learn how to protect their friends, loved ones, and family.

LESS INTIMIDATED
Your young martial artists are calm and have relaxed self-confidence in themselves. There is no way that your child will be intimidated easily, perhaps on occasional moments, but eventually you could see that they will adapt easily. As a result of this, they become more friendly.
